The University of Tsukuba and EUXP’s Online Information Session for Our Program Partners
On Wednesday, February 25, at 18:00 (JST) / 10:00 (CET), we were delighted to host an online information session for students from six partner universities participating in the EUXP Program.
The session introduced the University of Tsukuba and gave students a closer look at what the EUXP Program has to offer.
During the event, we shared an overview of the University of Tsukuba and talked about the structure of the program, the academic environment, and the various support systems available to incoming students.
We also introduced the Graduate School of Science and Technology’s each Degree Programs (Degree Programs in Pure and Applied Sciences, Degree Programs in Systems and Information Engineering, and Degree Programs in Life and Earth Sciences), highlighting its interdisciplinary approach and wide range of research opportunities.
In addition, we walked participants through the application process, timeline, visa procedures, financial support options, and student services to help them better imagine their future experience in Tsukuba.
The session wrapped up with a Q&A session. Students asked questions about laboratory supervision, research environments, and Japanese language expectations.
We were very happy to see their enthusiasm for studying or conducting research at the University of Tsukuba!
We hope the session helped answer their questions and made the idea of studying in Japan feel more approachable.
We look forward to welcoming many of them to Tsukuba in the near future and continuing to strengthen our collaboration with our partner universities.
